The Australian production, which is directed by Alena Lodkina, follows two people whose unexpected reunion stirs long-buried feelings and unspoken certainties about live, time and reinvention.

Heretic is preselling the film at the European Film Market next month. The script is co-written by Lodkina with Miles Allinson. Kate Glover and Nathan Lewis produce the project for Never/Sleep Pictures along with Aidan O’Bryan for WBMC and Gregory Jankilevitsch for Mid-March Media. Glover previously collaborated with Heretic on Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s Hot Milk and Romain Gavras’ Sacrifice. Mid-March was also involved in Sacrifice.
