Janis Rafa, following the successful journey of Rotterdam title KALA AZAR, returns with a new project in development, THE FUTURE IS AN ELDER COW and lands the TFL White Mirror Award at Torino Film Lab, boost that goes to a development project tackling environmental concerns.

The film is set in a small town ravaged by infertility, where rumours spread that women started giving birth to animals.

A co-production between SNG Films (The Netherlands) and Heretic (Greece).
